December weddings are always tricky. What I mean is, you never know what the weather is going to be like. Fortunately we didn't have a bad snowstorm on December 22 and it really wasn't that cold, condsidering that it was the 2nd official day of winter. We even got to take some pictures outdoors.

One Of The First Teams Taking Off

I had the opportunity to cover the 2011 MS Pedal To The Point Ride. It was a really energizing experience to see so many people gather for such a good cause. The ride was a very successful event and money was raised to fund quality-of-life programs and services for people with multiple sclerosis and to fund MS-related research efforts to find a cure for this chronic, unpredictable disease of the central nervous system.  The goal this year was to raise 1.4 million.
I had the pleasure of meeting Patti Substelny (pictured above) who was this year's poster child and gave the send off speech.  She started her team "Patti's Paladins" five years ago.
